Zune HD device, and play all stored digital content from the Zune HD device in the ZK500 with extraordinary sound including Kicker’s Legendary Bass. The updated ZK500 HD Firmware will continue to work with all previous Zune devices. Zune HD owners can now take their songs and video to a new level with the purchase of a KICKER ZK500 System. Customers who acquired the ZK500 Digital Stereo System after the release (9/9/2009) of Zune HD and can provide the proof-of-purchase are eligible for a FREE ZK500 HD Firmware Update. Customers are responsible for packaging the ZK500 so it arrives undamaged; KICKER will cover all shipping costs.

Already have a ZK500 and thinking about getting a Zune HD device? No problem. For ZK500 units purchased prior to the Zune HD release, you can send your ZK500 in and the firmware will be updated for only $40, including shipping costs both ways in the USA. It is possible your ZK500 could already work with the Zune HD player and you won’t need the firmware update. If you already have a Zune HD device and a ZK500, simply dock the device; if it plays music on the ZK500, there is no need for a firmware update. Contact Customer Service for more information.
